So a trip to Paris by Carrie Bradshaw ended a thrilling season of many ups and downs in the season finale of Just Like That. Carrie and the women stood to reputation and showcased glamorous gowns and stylish accessories throughout the season. Did we expect anything else?
Mentions of a 1 year anniversary at one of the top hotels in the world, the luxurious and glamorous Le Meurice. Le Meurice brings out the essence of Paris, to the point of cntraveller.com mentioning it as “the most Parisian hotel in Paris” It’s incredible architecture was once described as the city’s version of the Palace of Versaillies.
Amora Imani, had the pleasure of opening the show as lead Designer at Paris Fashion Week 2021 at the beautiful 5 star Le Meurice, showcasing exquisite gowns and stunning unique jewellery. Tiffany’s Paris Fashion Event was mesmerised by all the crystal and feather embellishments on all the gowns. One particular gown mesmerised more that the others with its full crystal bodice and feather trim called the Scarlett. It’s fascinating crystal element and formation of delicate ostrich feathers completed the Parisian theme by becoming the showpiece of the whole show. Sex and the City was the pinnacle of fashion for many women growing up and defined the uniqueness of being individual and extravagant in the way you dress.
In the sequel Just Like That, Carrie Bradshaw revisits the beautiful city of Paris which is the most romantic city in the world. The show was very important to Amora Imani as it revisits the beauty which we encapsulated on our trip for the Paris Fashion Show. We hope that in our future endeavours we can encourage women to break free of the mould that society has classed as acceptable fashion and be as creative and unique as we may wish.
